Hello, I’m Aleksandra – illustrator and designer based in the Pied Piper town of Hameln, Germany, where I live with my husband and our two daughters.
I create prints and illustrations for children’s products – playful, yet minimal, and full of personality. I’ve always loved simple shapes, earthy colours, and a mix of modern and nostalgic.
I grew up between Poland and Germany in the 90s – with enamel mugs, second-hand furniture, and that kind of everyday beauty that doesn’t try to impress, but feels like home. That calm, unpretentious feeling still shows up in my work today.
My style is honest, a little quirky, shaped by textures, hand-drawn lines, and reduced forms. You’ll often find animals, plants, and everyday objects in my designs.
Most of my ideas come from the world around me – childhood memories, nature, and small moments from life with my children.
If you’re working on something for little (or not-so-little) people and need hand-drawn, minimal designs – I’d love to hear from you.
Warmly,
Aleksandra
