Hi, I’m Aleksandra – illustrator and designer based in the Pied Piper town of Hameln, Germany, where I live with my husband and our two daughters.
I create prints and illustrations for children’s products – playful, minimal, and quietly full of personality. I’ve always loved simple shapes, earthy colours, and that mix of modern and nostalgic that just feels right.
I grew up between Poland and Germany in the 90s – with enamel mugs, second-hand furniture and that kind of everyday beauty that doesn’t try to impress, but sticks with you. That calm, no-fuss feeling still shows up in my work today.
My style? Honest, a bit quirky, and shaped by textures, hand-drawn lines, and reduced forms. You’ll often find animals, plants, objects and the occasional letter – all boiled down to the essentials.
Most of my ideas come from the world around me – childhood memories, nature, small moments, quiet stories. I like things that don’t shout, but stay.
If you’re working on something for little (or not-so-little) people and want it to feel gentle, clear and characterful – I’d love to hear from you.
Warmly,
Aleksandra
